It's originally a traditional drawing that I scanned from my old computer. Then I added a few effects on Photoshop. Call it mixed media or something.
This is my first ever District 9 fan art and hopefully not my last, even though it was hard to draw the head and body, with limited reference pics I could find. Oh yeah. I also watched this movie for the first time on the internet last week and I actually enjoyed it. Hopefully I'll be able to buy a DVD of it! Yes. I just bought a DVD of it today on Sunday 18 of July!
I can't be bothered to colour this one right now. Maybe later on.
Also this is my first half-arsed attempt at drawing Christopher's son Oliver, holding a board which says, FREE HUGS! Looking at his eyes, you would want to give him a I would too!
Anyway, enjoy!
I don't own Oliver unfortunately and District 9, but I own this concept.
I'm neither as great as some of the wonderful artists that does better District 9 fan arts than me, but I tried. Whoever likes this piece, good for you. Whoever doesn't like this piece, it's your loss!
Yeah- i was sad the day i had to start watermarking too. I also need to watermark my jewellery images now too- people are stealing them for their own ebay listings too ¬_¬
Sueeee!!!! LOVE IT! reminds me of the time I was Harajuku (Tokyo, Japan) and there was a really cute jap guy who was holding a sign that said 'free hugs' I practicaly glomed him!
How did you find out that his name was Oliver?
